Current cancer treatments like radiation, chemotherapy, and surgery often lack precision, affecting both healthy and cancerous cells, leading to significant side effects and limited effectiveness in advanced or resistant cancers. Omios OV therapy addresses the limitations of current therapies by selectively targeting metastases and offering improved tolerability, resistance-free treatment, and lasting results to prevent relapse.

A PARADIGM SHIFT

Previous approaches relied on attenuation for safety, sacrificing efficacy. We've taken a more selective approach: our modified vaccinia viruses replicate only in cells carrying specific cancer mutations in cell death pathways, enabling precise targeting and destruction of cancer cells alongside a potent anti-tumor immune response. As the first oncolytic virus platform with a built-in biomarker, Omios Bio lays the foundation for next-generation cancer immunotherapy.

Biomarkers enable us to precisely evaluate the proportion of patients who will benefit from our therapy. Our biomarkers help us select indications with high unmet medical needs.

Better preclinical models: select the models that most accurately predict how patients will respond, rather than relying on standard but less predictive models.

Smarter patient selection: enroll only the patients most likely to respond, which means surer benefits for patients and smaller trials—faster and cheaper to run.

A path to first-line therapy: as biomarker-driven data demonstrate efficacy in the right patients, the therapy is better positioned to move from later-line into first-line treatment.

BIOMARKER-DRIVEN

Omios OV therapies are biomarker-driven and delivered intravenously.

BREAST CANCER

Triple-negative breast cancer and HER2+ breast cancers have the highest unmet needs among breast cancer patients. We are targeting these two patient populations because they express our biomarkers.

PANCREATIC CANCER

Among the pancreatic cancer population, adenocarcinoma represents the largest population (80%) and is resistant to Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors. Using biomarker #2, our therapy will make these patients susceptible to combination treatment with an Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor.

LUNG CANCER

The lung cancer subtype with the highest unmet need is squamous cell carcinoma and represents about 15% of the total lung cancer population. This cancer highly expresses our biomarker #1.

KIDNEY, LIVER, PROSTATE, & COLON CANCER

90% of the kidney cancer patient population, 80% of the liver cancer patient population, 100% of the prostate cancer patient population, and 75% of the colon and rectal cancer patient population express our biomarker #1.
